I don’t know if anyone else has been feeling tired and moody lately but I sure have been feeling that way. My guess would be that I’m over working myself and so every week I burn out extremely quickly, leading to my rotten mood half way through the week. If you were to see me on a daily basis, you would notice that I always start off my week dressed rather enthusiastically and as I hit mid week, I’m already living and working in my PJs. The trouble is, I find that the less effort I put into getting dressed and making myself look nice, the more sluggish and moody I feel. So lately I’ve been trying a new approach that especially on bad days or tough days that I’m not particularly looking forward to, I will try to put an outfit together that is bright yet still comfortable. This has worked like magic! It’s strange but your outfit really can dictate and lift your mood and sometimes wearing bright colours can make you feel lighter and happier.
So make sure you all get a good rest this weekend and try it this ‘bright outfit’ theory this coming week! Dress bright, feel light, and most importantly, all things in moderation so that whatever it is that you are doing can be prolonged rather than burning yourself out right at the start line.
