Zero Confinements

Have you ever felt sick of your own style? Because I definitely have! I must admit, I go through this every once in a while where anything I put on, I feel dissatisfied with because I feel that the outfit is too repetitive. So every now and then, I always feel in desperate need to break out of my own creative confinements and try something a little different. Even the tiniest bit of change gives me the feeling of relief.

I think this is what fashion is all about. Reinventing yourself as often as you want. Being whoever you want to be. I think this is one of the main reasons why I’m personally not a fan of interview questions that consists of me describing my style ‘in 3 words’. For one, I’m not about labeling my own style and confining myself to just the one thing. The thought of that is highly suffocating to me and it makes me want to run the other way. Secondly, fashion is all about freedom to express, so I find it ironic that I would ever imprison myself to just three words that apparently makes up what my style is.

So what is my style? I refuse to play this game with society that feels the need to put a label on everything. I’m just me. Sometimes I’m girly, sometimes I’m boyish. Sometimes I’m formal, and sometimes I live in my PJs. All I know is, I do it my own way. Nün Style!

  1. I’ve got to the point where although I’m still evolving what I like to wear (to my big surprise), I am very particular about what I don’t like. I think now I can actually sum my style up in 3 or 4 key words and it encompasses everything I love to wear. If I get bored of my usual, I try 1 thing new and see if it works and if so, it’s an update and it’s still within my style because whatever I like, it’s my style. If that makes sense

  2. I definitely get that way a lot too, but it’s more so displeasure with my wardrobe, which I guess is because I need new things to pop in to it. And who needs words to describe their style!? The whole point is to let the clothes and accessories do the talking for you!!

Love this minimalist look, and that blue of your hair is so stunning!!
